Here at Red Chilli, younger guests are welcome to order from our main menu, just like the grown-ups. Our food is meant for sharing, after all. And we can always recommend milder dishes.

“Growing up, I saw my mother make these,” Shehroz (Founder) remembers. “She would marinate the meat & veggies overnight in Kashmir chilli, yogurt, and oil with special homemade spice and cook them the next day. I would see her marinating the meat & veggies for a long time. She would always add twigs from our mango farms to set fire at the bottom of the tandoor along with the charcoal.”

In every community, eating is a means to celebrate and to bring people together. We are particularly good at this in India. Every celebration has food in the middle of it, invariably leaving us all thoroughly sated, happy and burping (considered a courteous gesture).
Our version of this lovely tradition brings large groups together over a first-class feast, dining from Thaals laden with delicious food.
Small plates, Grills, Curry’s, Biryanis, Daal, Kachumber, and freshly baked Naan and Roti are shared by everyone at the table, enhancing the warmth of the occasion that might bring a group of old friends, work colleagues or a family together for a meal.
